Atlanta Magazine's GrillFest 2024

Atlanta Magazine is excited to announce GrillFest 2024 - a celebration of all of our favorite foods cooked over an open flame. GrillFest 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Union Hill Park in Alpharetta (1:00pm - 6:00pm) and we invite Russell’s Handcrafted to participate as a marketplace vendor.

GrillFest will include a mix of Atlanta's favorite restaurants preparing burgers, BBQ, chicken, steak and yes - even vegetables!  With the popularity for outdoor grilling at an all-time high, we expect our participating restaurants will be using their favorite cooktop - open flame grills, smoker, "eggs", pellet cookers and flat top griddles - to prepare their favorite food.

In addition to great food, we will have live entertainment, craft beer and craft cocktail sponsors and a host of Summer Fun Outdoor vendors to include all the latest grills, grill accessories, food products and everything our attendees will need to ensure their outdoor cooking and summer experience is top notch.

"Saucing Up the Season: My Debut at Autumn Acres Fall Festival"

As the leaves turned vibrant hues and the crisp autumn air settled in, I embarked on a flavorful adventure at the Autumn Acres Fall Festival at Cornerstone UMC. This year marked a special milestone for me as I introduced my signature sauce to the community for the very first time.

Setting up my booth amidst the lively festival atmosphere, I felt a mix of excitement and anticipation. The aroma of Mia Bella’s Caramel Pumpkin Kiss and the sounds of laughter created a perfect backdrop for this culinary journey. As the first visitors approached, I couldn't help but share the story behind my sauce, crafted with love and a dash of creativity. Laura Hambley’s Mia Bella candle booth was fantastic.

Engaging with the community was the highlight of the day. From curious taste-testers to longtime supporters, each interaction was a chance to connect and share the joy that went into every bottle. The festival became a melting pot of diverse tastes and stories, all converging around the love for local flavors.

Watching families and friends savor my sauce, swapping stories of their favorite pairings, and witnessing the smiles it brought – it was more than just a transaction. It was a celebration of community, culinary passion, and the shared experience of savoring the season.

The Autumn Acres Fall Festival provided a unique platform not only to showcase my sauce but also to learn from the vibrant community that gathered. The feedback, encouragement, and camaraderie were invaluable, leaving me inspired to continue refining and expanding my culinary creations.

As the sun set on the festival, I packed up with a heart full of gratitude. The first Autumn Acres Fall Festival for my sauce was not just about sales; it was about building connections, fostering a sense of community, and realizing the profound impact that a jar of sauce could have on bringing people together.

Here's to many more festivals, flavors, and the beautiful tapestry of moments that make up the rich experience of sharing my passion with the world.
